Job summary

Columbia Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Server at Valley River Inn in Eugene, OR. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and help create exceptional dining experiences for guests along the Willamette River.

This positions involves setup/teardown of banquet spaces, upselling opportunities, and maintaining attractive presentation. Eligible perks include daily pay, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K, and paid time off.

Qualifications

Previous experience as server in a similar environment.
Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures.
Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.
Must have State Food Handler’s License and OLCC Permit.

Responsibilities

Takes orders and serves food and beverage items to guests according to standards.
Prepares and assembles food items like appetizers, salads and soups.
Ensures attractive presentation and correct temperatures of items.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of menu offerings.
Sets up and tears down Banquet Spaces.
Keeps work and storage areas clean and organized.

Assembles food items, such as appetizers, salads and soups
Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages. Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
Set up and tear down of Banquet Spaces
Keeps work and storage areas clean and organized

Previous experience as server in a similar environment
