SCHEELS in Sparks, NV is hiring for a food service associate. You will prepare fudge products and other offerings, assist in deli/barista operations, and ensure food safety guidelines are followed. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and accuracy in cash handling while maintaining a clean, welcoming workspace.

Applicants should be able to perform basic math, read safety instructions, and adapt to varied hours, including evenings and weekends. Training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Food safety awareness and basic cash handling.

Responsabilités

• Prepare all fudge products and sell to customers.
• Assist in deli line, barista, grill, ice cream and baked goods as needed.
• Follow all food safety guidelines by state and local ordinances.
• Ensure products are received and stored according to SOPs.
• Assist in training new associates using mentor checklists and SOPs.
• Ensure cash control and till management per Scheels guidelines.
• Maintain a clean workspace and support opening/closing procedures.
• Demonstrate professional appearance and teamwork with respect for others.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Speak effectively to groups of customers and employees.
