Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of roadway maintenance, sweeping, or construction experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or field leadership experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment including roadway sweepers, loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and asphalt rollers.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work overnight, weekends, and in severe weather conditions.

This role combines hands‑on equipment operation with team leadership to maintain roadway safety, productivity, and quality standards during routine maintenance operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate roadway sweeping and maintenance crews.
• Lead routine roadway maintenance and sweeping operations.
• Operate roadway sweeping and heavy equipment as needed.
• Coordinate traffic control and ensure safe work zone setup.
• Monitor work quality, productivity, and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform roadway maintenance activities, including concrete repair and equipment operation.
• Conduct inspections of equipment and ensure preventive maintenance is completed.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Communicate work assignments and provide guidance to maintenance personnel.
• Respond to changing operational needs, including emergency weather events.
• Utilize mobile technology and applications to document and manage work activities.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
