The Highway Maintenance Technician in Nashville, TN is responsible for performing a variety of highway maintenance tasks to keep roadways safe, functional, and presentable. The role includes roadway repairs, debris removal, incident response, heavy equipment operation, and installation and repair of roadway safety features following safety standards.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Roadway maintenance or construction experience preferred.
• MOT Certification preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to work safely in varying weather and environmental conditions.
• Ability to adapt to changing work schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call assignments.
• Ability to use smartphones and mobile applications.
• Ability to pass background screening, fingerprinting, and drug testing.
