Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking a reliable Sweeper Truck Driver to join our Midwest team, operating a heavy-duty sweeper to clean roadways, parking lots, and construction sites. You will perform inspections, follow routes, and coordinate with project teams to ensure efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has DOT certification, safety focus, and the ability to work independently and with a field crew in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate/DOT medical card.
• Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in construction environments.
• Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing per DOT.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a field team.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy-duty sweeper truck to clean roadways, lots, and sites.
• Perform sweeping efficiently according to routes and project needs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are secured before operation.
• Monitor vehicle operation and equipment condition during work.
• Complete daily logs, tickets, and mileage records accurately.
• Follow routes, schedules, and supervisor instructions.
• Coordinate with supervisors and field personnel for efficiency.
• Assist other drivers or field staff as directed.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and subcontractors.
