Job summary

Arena Sweeping, a Plymouth Meeting, PA based street sweeping company, is seeking a full-time CDL Class B Driver / Street Sweeper Operator for local construction and roadway projects.

We value a dependable, safety-conscious driver who can operate vacuum street sweepers and complete inspections. Street sweeper experience is helpful, but training is available for the right CDL driver.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class B license and DOT medical card.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record and FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to report to work as scheduled.
• Ability to work varying schedules based on job requirements.
• Construction or commercial driving experience preferred, street sweeper experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vacuum street sweeper.
• Sweep streets and roadways for construction sites and other job sites.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain the sweeper and report mechanical issues.
• Travel to job sites throughout the service area.
• Follow DOT, company, and job-site safety requirements.
• Complete required daily paperwork.

Arena Sweeping is hiring a full-time CDL Class B Driver / Street Sweeper Operator for local construction and roadway sweeping work.

We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious CDL driver to operate one of our vacuum street sweepers. Street sweeper experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right CDL driver.

Job Duties

• Operate a commercial vacuum street sweeper
• Perform street and roadway sweeping for construction projects and other job sites
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain the sweeper and report any mechanical or maintenance issues
• Safely travel to job sites throughout our service area
• Follow DOT, company, and job-site safety requirements
• Complete required daily paperwork

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B or higher
• Valid DOT medical card
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• Must meet FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements
• Dependable transportation to our Plymouth Meeting location
• Must be reliable and able to report to work as scheduled
• Ability to work varying schedules depending on job requirements
• Construction or commercial driving experience preferred
• Street sweeper or vacuum truck experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule

This is a full-time position. Work schedules vary based on customer and construction project needs and may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
