Job summary

A leading defense contractor in San Diego is seeking a former Surface Warfare Officer or Senior Enlisted with Combat Systems experience to support the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center. The ideal candidate will provide expertise in Surface Warfare tactics and contribute to training and evaluation processes. This position requires excellent communication and leadership skills, and candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and be eligible for a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Systems engineering experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) with Department Head experience.
• 4+ years experience with Navy training and certification processes.
• Experience with Navy information systems for training management.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Surface Warfare for SMWDC.
• Develop and deliver presentations to senior Navy leadership.
• Contribute to training documentation using Navy systems.
• Lead workshops to prioritize training process improvements.
