Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for Cloud Services in Midtown Atlanta, onsite. You will design, develop, and scale cloud-based services powering NCR’s platform-as-a-service offerings, focusing on high performance and reliability.

You will mentor peers, lead code reviews, and drive best practices in testing, deployment, and API design, while collaborating with stakeholders across Financial Services, Retail, and Hospitality verticals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java and/or C#.
• Experience using relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing RESTful APIs.
• Experience using Google Cloud Platform and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, such as microservices, serverless, and containers.
• Familiarity with modern frameworks for building high-throughput and resilient microservices.

Responsibilities

• Craft clean, well-tested code using rigorous continuous delivery methodologies, including automated testing and deployment processes to ensure high quality and reliable software releases.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production systems.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU CAN EXPECT TO…. Play a key role as a Senior Software Engineer on scrum teams focused on developing NCRV’s Cloud Platform that will serve each of our major industries – Financial Services, Retail and , Hospitality. You will build and expand the services powering our API ecosystem, solving problems for a large community of fellow developers.

Your key day-today responsibilities will include:

YOU HAVE…
