Job summary

NCR Voyix in Midtown Atlanta is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Cloud Platform team. You will design, build, and scale cloud-based services that power our API ecosystem for financial services, retail and hospitality industries.

You will write high-performance Java and/or C# code, drive automated testing and continuous delivery, mentor teammates, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions within a microservices architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java and/or C#.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP and/or Azure).
• Knowledge of microservices, serverless, and containers.
• Familiarity with Spring Framework and Node.js.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build large-scale applications with a focus on high performance, scalability and resiliency in a service-oriented environment.
• Write clean, well-tested code with automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.

• Troubleshoot and debug production issues and contribute to blameless postmortems.
• Stay up-to-date with cloud technologies and evaluate new tools to improve infrastructure.
