Job summary

BNY seeks a Senior Vice President to join the Internal Audit - Core Technology Process Audit team in New York City, NY, Lake Mary, FL, or Pittsburgh, PA. You will lead enterprise technology audits across SDLC, ITSM, and AI governance while guiding planning, fieldwork, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has extensive tech-audit experience, familiarity with ITIL/COBIT/NIST, and professional qualifications such as CIA or CMIIA. This role emphasizes leadership and strategic risk oversight.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technology audits, SDLC, Change Management and IT Service Management.
• Knowledge of AI governance, model risk management, and control frameworks across AI lifecycles.
• Strong familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, NIST and FFIEC.
• Experience in financial services or banking within Internal Audit or Risk/Compliance monitoring.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of enterprise-wide technology audit assignments, including SDLC and ITSM audits.
• Oversee end-to-end planning, fieldwork, and reporting of technology audits.
• Identify and remediate significant issues with senior management guidance and action.
• Lead high-impact projects and senior stakeholder engagements.
• Prepare and review audit reports and follow-ups to ensure remediation.
• Align with AI governance and model risk processes.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and ensure Continuous Monitoring.
• Contribute to the annual audit plan aligned to enterprise risks.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Lead strategic initiatives and ad-hoc reviews while delivering value.
