Job summary

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley seeks an accomplished Revenue Cycle Leader to oversee patient access, credentialing, enrollment, payer relations, and the overall revenue cycle operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field required.
• Seven (7) years of management experience in revenue cycle or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of revenue cycle, credentialing, provider enrollment, payer relations, patient experience and patient access operations.
• Leads revenue cycle strategic plan objectives and executes through departmental leadership across multiple functional areas.
• Ensures compliance with revenue cycle policies and regulatory requirements; monitors outsourced billing/coding and denial management.
• Develops revenue cycle budgets and annual strategic plan with measurable KPIs; drives continuous process improvements.
• Oversees onboarding and efficiency of provider enrollment/credentialing; supports opportunities to maximize revenue and reimbursements.
• Directs monthly/quarterly/annual reporting on revenue cycle performance and KPIs; collaborates with budget/finance and IT.

Education
