Job summary

Submer is transforming AI datacenter infrastructure with advanced liquid cooling and scalable platform delivery. We seek an SVP to lead strategy, execution, and operational excellence for platform delivery, spanning engineering, cloud, DevOps, and software delivery, in a cross-functional, high-impact role.

The role requires 15+ years of leadership in technology delivery and 8+ years in executive leadership, with deep cloud and Agile expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology delivery, engineering, or platform operations.
8+ years in senior executive leadership roles managing large-scale global teams.
Proven track record delivering enterprise platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
Deep expertise in cloud technologies, platform engineering, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and software delivery.
Experience managing complex technology portfolios and enterprise-scale programs.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the enterprise platform delivery strategy aligned with business goals.
Establish and drive technology roadmaps that support scalability, reliability, and innovation.
Partner with executive leadership to prioritize investments and technology initiatives.
Foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Oversee end-to-end delivery of technology platforms, applications, and infrastructure services.
Lead large-scale platform transformation, modernization, and cloud migration initiatives.
Ensure delivery predictability, quality, performance, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
Implement best practices for Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering.
Lead and develop high-performing teams across engineering, platform operations, and delivery management.
Build organizational capabilities through talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development.
Establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks.
Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership regarding technology delivery and operational performance.
Collaborate with Product Management to ensure platform capabilities meet business needs.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic technology partners.
Ensure platform security, availability, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
Establish governance frameworks for technology delivery and operational risk management.
Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident management processes.
Manage multimillion-dollar operating and capital budgets.
Drive cost optimization and resource allocation strategies.
Evaluate and negotiate vendor partnerships and technology investments.
