Description

The Senior Vice President, PINK Production & Sourcing leads the product development and production planning agenda for the PINK business across apparel, intimate apparel, swim, active, sleep, accessories, collaborations, licensing, and third‑party product categories.

This leader ensures products are developed and prepared for production with the right balance of brand intent, customer relevance, speed, cost, margin, quality, fit, innovation, manufacturability, and delivery readiness. The role directly leads the U.S.-based Product Development and Production Planning organizations and establishes clear priorities, operating disciplines, decision rights, and accountability across the product creation lifecycle.

The role serves as the senior Production & Sourcing partner to the PINK Brand President and works closely with Merchandising, Design, Finance, Merchandise Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Materials, Technical Design, Quality, Logistics, Technology, and other cross‑functional leaders. The role also partners with Asia‑based Sourcing, Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Production Management, Production Engineering, Cost Engineering, and Product Development teams.

In partnership with Asia sourcing leadership, this leader helps align and execute enterprise sourcing strategies on behalf of PINK. Serving as the primary bridge between the brand and the global supply chain, the role ensures product, cost, calendar, volume, and readiness priorities are translated into clear sourcing, manufacturing, capacity, and risk‑mitigation decisions.

The Senior Vice President brings deep apparel expertise, strong commercial and financial leadership, experience with multiple supply chain models that enable speed from creation to store, and a forward‑looking perspective on how artificial intelligence, automation, digital product creation, and advanced analytics will reshape the industry and the work.

Key Responsibilities
PINK Product Creation Strategy

Define and lead the future‑state product creation and production planning strategy for PINK in partnership with the Brand President, Merchandising, Design, Finance, Merchandise Planning, and global supply chain leaders.

Translate PINK business priorities into an integrated roadmap that supports growth, customer relevance, speed, innovation, quality, fit, cost competitiveness, margin, and delivery.

Establish clear operating rhythms, decision rights, performance expectations, and accountability across the product creation lifecycle.

Ensure product development and production planning decisions support PINK brand positioning, commercial strategy, customer expectations, and financial objectives.

Provide product, cost, readiness, risk, and operational insight to the PINK Brand President and leadership team to support timely business decisions.

Anticipate category growth, product complexity, calendar requirements, emerging technology, and supply chain risk, and build the capabilities needed to support PINK’s long‑term strategy.

Partner with Merchandising, Customer Insights, and Analytics teams to incorporate customer feedback, trend signals, social listening, and demand indicators into development, sourcing, and production planning decisions.

Product Development and Commercialization

Lead the U.S.-based PINK Product Development organization across apparel, intimate apparel, swim, active, sleep, accessories, collaborations, licensing, and third‑party product categories.

Translate design and merchandising intent into executable product requirements, including construction, fit, materials, cost, quality, timing, feasibility, and production readiness.

Apply deep apparel expertise to identify construction, fit, material, quality, cost, and commercialization risks early in development.

Own development calendar governance from concept through pre‑production, with clear milestones, decision points, escalation routines, and accountability.

Partner with Materials, Technical Design, Quality, Innovation, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Production Engineering to resolve feasibility issues and improve product outcomes.

Improve development execution through earlier feasibility decisions, reduced sample iterations, clearer cost gates, stronger vendor‑enabled development, parallel work, and simplified handoffs.

Maintain disciplined product specifications, bills of materials, sample management, readiness information, and system data.

Stop or redirect low‑potential ideas early so resources remain focused on products with the strongest customer and commercial potential.

Build operating models that enable emerging growth opportunities, including collaborations, licensing, limited‑edition launches, new category expansion, and rapid customer‑response programs.

Production Planning, Readiness, and Global Supply Chain Partnership

Lead the U.S.-based PINK Production Planning organization, including ownership of demand projections, raw material coordination, product readiness, milestone tracking, delivery communication, and exception management.

Integrate development, material, cost, volume, capacity, and production milestones into a clear end‑to‑end view of product readiness.

Partner with Integrated Business Planning, Supply Planning, Production Management, Materials, and Merchandising to align demand, projections, capacity assumptions, raw material readiness, and production timing.

Develop and maintain speed and agility programs that support chase, test‑and‑read, read‑and‑react, collaboration, and other fast‑cycle business models.

Identify product readiness, cost, material, capacity, quality, and delivery risks early and escalate them with clear options, recommendations, and accountable owners.

Improve coordination between U.S. Production Planning and Asia Supply Planning while maintaining clear accountability for each function.

Represent PINK priorities with Asia‑based Sourcing, Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Production Management, Production Engineering, Cost Engineering, and Product Development teams.

Provide product, cost, calendar, volume, readiness, and commercial inputs to inform sourcing, capacity, country‑of‑origin, manufacturing, and risk‑mitigation decisions.

Partner with sourcing leaders on supplier capability, geographic diversification, duty, origin, capacity, flexibility, speed, and resiliency needs.

Ensure the supply base can execute PINK’s product strategy and complexity through close partnership with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Materials, Technical Design, Quality, and vendors.

Monitor/Support execution across key global supply markets, including Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka, MENA, and LATAM, and support supplier capability development and vendor‑enabled product creation.

Simplify manual tracking, eliminate duplicate work, and establish consistent data, dashboards, and operating reviews.

Cost and Financial Stewardship

Own development cost leadership for PINK, including early pre‑costing, cost architecture, target setting, scenario analysis, cost‑risk visibility, and decision support throughout product creation.

Provide timely cost information that enables the Brand President, Merchandising, Design, Finance, and Product Development teams to make informed product, material, construction, assortment, and margin decisions.

Partner with Asia‑based Production Engineering, Cost Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Product Development teams to establish fact‑based costing, should‑cost visibility, and cost‑improvement opportunities.

Identify and escalate cost and margin risks early, including material choices, construction complexity, minimums, productivity, lead time, duty, country of origin, quality risk, and late product changes.

Establish clear cost performance measures, dashboards, and decision routines that improve transparency and accountability.

Drive continuous cost productivity through value engineering, construction alternatives, material choices, process simplification, and better development decisions while protecting the product attributes that matter most to the customer.

Speed, Operating Model, and Process Transformation

Evaluate and advance product creation and supply chain models that reduce total concept‑to‑store lead time and improve PINK’s ability to respond to changing customer demand.

Develop differentiated operating models for core, seasonal fashion, innovation, test‑and‑read, chase, collaboration, licensed, and third‑party products.

Move the organization from sequential handoffs toward integrated decision‑making, parallel work, and clear ownership at critical development gates.

Eliminate duplicate coordination, repeated validation, unnecessary approvals, and manual reconciliation across Product Development, Production Planning, Materials, Technical Design, Quality, Sourcing, Supply Planning, and Production.

Shift appropriate executional work to capable vendors and manufacturing partners while strengthening internal decision quality, governance, and oversight.

Establish measures for speed, cost accuracy, sample reduction, product readiness, decision timing, development productivity, and on‑time delivery.

Build a culture that identifies problems early, makes informed trade‑offs, and acts with urgency.

AI, Digital, Data, and Analytics

Define and champion a clear vision for how artificial intelligence, automation, digital product creation, predictive analytics, and connected workflows will transform PINK product development, costing, planning, and production.

Prioritize practical use cases that improve speed, decision quality, cost accuracy, product feasibility, sample efficiency, workflow visibility, productivity, and risk identification.

Partner with Technology, Data, Finance, and functional leaders to strengthen systems, product data, workflow integration, reporting, and governance.

Build organizational capabilities, skills, and adoption plans required to embed new tools and ways of working.

Ensure technology reduces manual effort and enables better decisions rather than adding process complexity.

Establish a disciplined approach to experimentation, pilots, learning, scaling, and value measurement.

Talent and Organizational Leadership

Build and lead a high‑performing PINK Product Development and Production Planning organization with clear roles, capabilities, accountability, and performance expectations.

Build strong talent pipelines, succession plans, leadership capability, and career pathways across the organization.

Create a culture of customer focus, collaboration, transparency, inclusion, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Translate business priorities into focused team objectives and coach leaders to make sound decisions, raise risks early, challenge assumptions, and solve problems with urgency.

Empower teams to take appropriate risks, test new approaches, and learn from outcomes.

Build strong partnerships across U.S. and Asia teams and create shared accountability for product, cost, speed, quality, and delivery outcomes.
