Qualifications

  • Ability to understand and communicate design aesthetic and product direction to vendor partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage assigned responsibilities while knowing when to elevate issues or risks.

Responsibilities

  • Proto & Tech Pack Management
  • Coordinate Tech Pack pass-off to vendor partners and ensure all required development information is communicated accurately and timely
  • Manage vendor questions and callouts, partnering with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Follow up on sample ETAs and maintain accurate sample tracking throughout the development process
  • Coordinate and execute BOM changes and updates throughout development
  • Identify potential delays or risks to sample delivery and proactively communicate/escalate as needed
  • Color Sample Management
  • Coordinate Color Sample requests with vendor partners based on seasonal development calendars and business needs
  • Manage vendor questions, callouts, and issues related to color sample development
  • Follow up on sample ETAs and maintain accurate tracking through receipt and review
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and regional offices to troubleshoot issues and ensure samples are received on time
  • Style Development Management
  • Maintain accurate development data within Centric PLM and external development tracking tools/charts
  • Coordinate vendor communication related to assortment changes, development shifts, and changes to product direction
  • Partner with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, regional teams, and other cross-functional partners to troubleshoot development issues
  • Follow up with vendors and regional teams to ensure development milestones and sample deliveries remain on track
  • Monitor development calendars and proactively identify potential risks to key milestones
  • Support the team in maintaining visibility to style status, open issues, and upcoming deliverables
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to simplify and improve product development processes
  • Centric PLM Management
  • Maintain and update BOMs within Centric PLM
  • Maintain CC Charts
  • Complete required style data entry and maintenance
  • Create and manage sample requests
  • Maintain Risk Level updates based on current development status
  • Maintain Floorset updates and other required seasonal/style attributes
  • Ensure product information is accurate and aligned across Centric PLM and supporting development tools
  • Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly and seasonal cross-functional meetings, including:

Description

The Associate Product Developer is an individual contributor responsible for coordinating and supporting the development and execution of product from initial design intent through production. This role partners closely with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, regional offices, and external vendor partners to ensure product development milestones are executed accurately and on time.

The Associate Product Developer manages day-to-day development activities including sample requests and tracking, tech pack and BOM updates, color sample execution, vendor communication, and maintenance of product information within Centric PLM. This role is responsible for identifying and troubleshooting development issues, escalating risks when needed, and ensuring clear communication across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced product development environment. They demonstrate strong follow-through, sound problem-solving skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships with both internal teams and external vendor partners.

Your Impact

Proto & Tech Pack Management

Minimum Salary: $68,200.00

Maximum Salary: $89,460.00
