Delta Dallas seeks an SVP of Finance for Commercial Real Estate in Dallas, TX. This on-site, direct-hire leadership role offers a clear runway to a CFO position and oversees a coast-to-coast portfolio across mixed-use, retail, and residential developments.

You will lead the finance function, strengthen investor reporting, and guide a small team of six. Expect heavy involvement in lending discussions, acquisitions, and development activity, plus collaboration with the PEO on payroll and benefits.

Formación

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, managing and coaching a team of 6.
• Experience in commercial real estate, retail preferred.
• Strength in lending/financing and stakeholder communication.
• Background supporting or leading investor reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

Are you ready to step into a true finance leadership seat with a clear runway to a CFO role? Our Client is seeking a hands-on SVP of Finance to strengthen leadership, elevate reporting, and help scale a coast-to-coast portfolio spanning mixed-use, retail, and residential developments.

Overview

This is an on-site, direct-hire leadership role based in Dallas, TX. You’ll join a lean, tenured team at a company active in development, acquisitions, and dispositions, including major projects (e.g., large-format retail) and long-horizon capital planning.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the finance function and drive improvements in financial processes and cadence
• Strengthen investor reporting and elevate the quality of communication and insights
• Provide leadership across a team of ~6 (including property accounting, payables, audit support, and finance associates supporting construction draws)
• Be a key voice in lending/financing conversations—able to “talk the talk” with external stakeholders
• Partner with the business on acquisition/disposition and development activity (including raw land and build/sell strategies)
• Serve as a core financial decision-maker across large, multi-year projects and portfolio initiatives
• Act as the primary negotiator/communicator with the company’s PEO for payroll and benefits coordination

Must-Have Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience ~managing, coaching and leading a team of 6
• Experience in commercial real estate required (retail preferred)
• Strength in lending/financing and stakeholder communication
• Background supporting or leading investor reporting
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
