Job summary

S+H Search in North Dallas is seeking an FP&A Manager to join our commercial real estate client. You will build a reporting platform, lead budgeting/forecasting, and provide financial analysis to support senior management and joint venture partners.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years CRE experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Base compensation is $120-130k with a 10% bonus; strong benefits and advancement opportunities are offered.

• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities

Responsibilities

• Develop reporting platform to provide KPIs for financial and operational analysis for senior management and joint venture partners
• Provide analyses to support Leasing and Asset Management with budget/forecast comparisons
• Interpret monthly results and prepare reviews with recommendations to management
• Lead financial modeling for ad hoc reports and analytics for senior management
• Manage annual budgeting process for corporate and property level, including design and presentation to senior management
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with Leasing, Asset Management and Accounting
• Direct long-term forecast planning and scenario development
• Develop models and value proposals to support revenue growth or cost savings
• Prepare guidance for period senior management and joint venture partner meetings
• Supervise FP&A Analysts through recruitment, onboarding, and performance management

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop reporting platform to provide key performance metrics for financial and operational analysis to provide insight to senior management and joint venture partners
• Provide analyses to support Leasing and Asset Management with assessment of financial and operating performance compared to budget and forecast, identifying and summarizing major themes or meaningful indicators
• Interpret monthly financial and operating results and prepare results reviews, along with appropriate recommendations to management
• Lead and coordinate financial modeling efforts for various ad hoc reports and analytics to senior management (i.e. lease analysis, operating expense analysis, capital projects/investments, etc.)
• Responsible for annual budgeting process for corporate and property level, including process design, coordination, and presentation/communication of financial budget to senior management
• Lead the continuous improvement of the budgeting and forecasting function from start to finish
• Lead budgeting and forecasting sessions with Leasing, Asset Management and Accounting
• Direct the process of developing long-term forecast plans and related scenarios
• Develop models and value proposals in support of revenue growth and/or cost savings
• Review and contribute guidance into the preparation of period senior management and joint venture partner meeting presentations
• Direct and guide FP&A Analysts and Associates through the employment cycle to include recruitment, hiring, onboarding, development, performance management, goal setting, discipline, and termination
