Job summary

Nscale Ltd. seeks a Senior Vice President of Legal to lead the global infrastructure and projects legal agenda, spanning real estate, power procurement, data centre design, construction, and related services. This US-based role reports to the Chief Legal Officer with global scope.

You will shape strategy, manage external counsel, negotiate complex agreements, and drive risk management across multiple jurisdictions, enabling large-scale developments worldwide.

Qualifications

• 15+ PQE focusing on infrastructure, construction, or energy projects.
• Experience leading large-scale, multi-jurisdictional digital infrastructure developments.
• Deep expertise in real estate, regulatory frameworks, and commercial contracting.
• Strong leadership at executive level and stakeholder management.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills in complex commercial environments.
• Strategic, commercially minded approach to legal problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal strategy and execution for global infrastructure and data centre projects across jurisdictions.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategy, negotiation, and execution of large-scale developments.
• Provide commercially minded legal counsel across project lifecycles.
• Advise on site selection, land acquisition, and related transactions.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, zoning, and permitting.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks tied to project development and implementation.
• Counsel on power reservation and energy supply arrangements.
• Coordinate with internal teams on data centre design and construction matters.
• Mitigate risks in infrastructure, construction, and energy-related work.
• Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements with internal stakeholders.
• Lead procurement-related legal work and manage external counsel.
• Influence executive decision-making with risk-based guidance.
