Job summary

Oliver James Group in New York seeks a Senior Vice President to oversee accounting, operations and financial reporting for a leading Private Equity Secondaries platform. The role builds scalable infrastructure and controls to support continued growth, with a focus on automation and data governance.

CPA-qualified candidate with 12+ years of accounting experience and PE secondaries or fund of funds exposure is preferred; compensation is competitive with strong progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred; 12+ years of public and/or private accounting experience.
• Significant experience in PE secondaries or fund of funds, with strong reporting.
• Strong US GAAP technical accounting expertise.
• Experience with data governance, automation and governance tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, operations and financial reporting for secondaries products.
• Develop target operating model and scalable infrastructure for growth.
• Oversee data governance across vendors and portfolio systems.
• Analyze budgets across fund entities and liquidity projections.
• Support fundraising campaigns and RFP processes.
• Collaborate with Deal, Client, Operations, Tax and Legal teams.
• Mentor junior staff and lead strategic projects for senior leadership.
