Job summary

Riot Platforms, Inc. is seeking a Senior VP of Engineering to lead Riot Data Centers' Engineering organization, ensuring design integrity and technical rigor across mechanical, electrical, and controls. You will mentor engineers, set standards, and steer cross-functional collaboration with vendors and capital programs.

This role reports to the EVP of Design & Construction, manages a senior team, and drives delivery velocity while maintaining technical excellence across a growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of engineering leadership in data center environments.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams on large capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish engineering standards, BoD frameworks, and QA/QC across disciplines.
• Review design milestones (DD, 30/60/90/IFC) for integrity and compliance.
• Lead cross-discipline coordination for integrated system performance.
• Oversee vendor relationships and capital investment decisions.
