Job summary

Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Vice President of Clinical Development, FcRn/immunology, to lead the clinical strategy and execution for assigned programs from IND through registrational development.

The role reports to the CMO and will guide trial design, regulatory strategy, and external scientific engagement. The position is based at our Waltham, MA headquarters, with office three days per week.

Qualifications

• Requires an MD degree with 20+ years’ relevant experience in clinical development, clinical research, and/or medicine.
• Experience leading clinical development programs or organizations within biopharmaceuticals/pharma.
• Extensive clinical development experience across all phases and indications, immunology/autoimmune preferred.
• Proven enterprise leadership, cross-functional alignment, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as one of two senior Clinical Development leaders reporting to the CMO and accountable for FcRn/immunology programs.
• Lead integrated clinical development plans, study concepts, protocols, and regulatory document sections.
• Oversee review and interpretation of trial data; prepare abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts.
• Partner with SVP, Clinical Development to ensure quality, inspection readiness, and cross-program learning.
• Collaborate with Program Leadership, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Safety/Pharmacovigilance, Biometric Sciences, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Provide development support for initiatives led by Research, Medical Affairs, and Business Development.
• Build, lead, and mentor a team of Clinical Development Leaders and Scientists.
