Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. in Pendleton, SC is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer II for the Sutures Pilot. You will design, develop, and improve textile manufacturing processes and provide engineering support across production, QA, and design teams.

You will lead process improvement efforts, validate equipment, and develop work instructions while ensuring schedule adherence and cost control in a clean-room environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Textile Management or Mathematics.
• 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience leading process improvement projects.
• Medical device manufacturing environment preferred with textile production exposure.
• Lean Six Sigma training preferred.
• Industrial Engineering experience a plus; BOMs and routings understanding.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to identify issues and risks during new product development.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost quality and efficiency.
• Introduce new equipment, products, and processes with leadership support.
• Develop work instructions and validate equipment and processes.
• Provide process expertise for textile production, assembly and clean-room packaging.
• Plan workloads, space, and workflow for maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate with vendors on equipment specifications and purchases.
