Job summary

Arthrex Manufacturing in Pendleton, SC is seeking a Suture Assembly Operator to join a cleanroom environment. You will assemble and test sutures, package products, and maintain batch records in a controlled setting.

High school diploma or equivalent is required; manufacturing experience is a plus. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable using inspection tools and basic computer applications. Arthrex offers extensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience in technical/mechanical environments is a plus.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently when necessary.
• Able to determine materials and tools required to perform operations.
• Creative thinker able to suggest process improvements and problem solve.
• Able to use inspection tools and measuring devices to assure quality.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support current processes related to existing suture assembly.
• Operate suture attaching process to crimp needles to nitonol wire and braided suture; run related equipment.
• Perform dimensional checks on the product as needed.
• Package suture in support cards using winding techniques; handle pouch loading/sealing and labeling.
• Complete batch records with required process information.
• Escalate assembly issues to the Production Coordinator.
• Store, control, and identify tooling and fixtures properly.
• Perform terminal cleaning and daily housekeeping with cleaning/disinfecting agents.
