Job summary

Platform Aerospace in Hollywood, MD, is seeking a Production Planner II to support readiness and sustainment by coordinating repair, material flow, and logistics across internal teams for CONUS/OCONUS operations.

You will liaise with Program Management, Maintenance, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operations to communicate priorities, track MOs, schedules, and aircraft status, ensuring configuration baselines are maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years of production planning or manufacturing ops.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Udemy Microsoft Project Training or equivalent within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sustainment, repair, and modification activities for CONUS and OCONUS operations.
• Act as a liaison between Program Management, Maintenance, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operations to communicate priorities, schedules, material status, and repair progress.
• Track aircraft availability, serialized components, repair status, and modification progress to support sustainment operations and mission readiness.
• Create, release, and manage Manufacturing Orders (MOs) supporting sustainment, repair, refurbishment, and modification efforts.
• Maintain and communicate sustainment schedules, repair timelines, aircraft status, and operational readiness updates to internal stakeholders.
• Assist with configuration planning and control of aircraft and payload systems to ensure approved mission-required configurations, asset traceability, and configuration baselines are maintained.
• Submit Purchase Requisitions and escalate material shortages, repair delays, or schedule risks that may impact aircraft readiness and delivery.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Inventory Control, and Production teams to track part availability, replenishment actions, and delivery schedules.
