You will review work scope, assign and sequence tasks, coordinate parts and task cards, and work with project managers to align with the plan. Strong document control and communication are essential.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years of production planning experience on large aircraft, with OJT and an Airframe/Powerplant certificate, and are highly organized.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Planner is responsible for setting up the production control booth.
Working closely with all other department personnel, this job requires close cooperation with Project Managers, Shift Managers and Leads.
High School Diploma/GED and OJT. Holds a mechanic certificate with both Airframe and Power plant.
Has had recent production planning experience for at least 3 years. Has had diversified maintenance experience on large aircraft with an Air Carrier, Commercial Operator or Certified Repair Station.
Extensive familiarity with technical procedural and schematic OEM maintenance documentation.
Proficient Computer user with working knowledge of online research and usage of OEM portals.
Good written and oral communication skills in order to effectively interact with all levels of staff from different departments effectively.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of where to find relevant information.
