Lockheed Martin in Goleta, California seeks a Product Sustainment Engineer to drive depot-level repair, modification, and refurbishment of Integrated Dewar Cooler Assemblies (IDCA) across multiple programs. You’ll coordinate repairs, gather inputs, and publish basis-of-estimate documents for sustainment contracts.

You will analyze field returns, perform root-cause analysis, and provide actionable feedback to improve production processes, collaborating with engineering and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Physics or Similar Engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience related to Manufacturing Engineering Disciplines (Product/Process/Operations/Quality)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be a US Citizen- This role requires a US Secret Clearance and special access due to work location.

• Disposition repair instructions and document workflows in maintenance data-collection systems (AMS and Apriso).

The Product Sustainment Engineer (Process Integration Engineering team) drives depot‑level repair, modification, and refurbishment of Integrated Dewar Cooler Assemblies (IDCA) across multiple programs. Acting as the logistics liaison, you’ll coordinate material repairs/upgrades and deliver data‑driven recommendations for procurement and sustainment planning.

As a Sustainment Engineer, you’ll collaborate with engineering and business teams to coordinate repairs, aggregate functional inputs, and author basis‑of‑estimate documents for upcoming sustainment contracts. You’ll also conduct root‑cause analysis on field returns, characterize failure modes, and deliver actionable feedback to improve production processes.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $91200.00 - $169400.00
