Job summary

Cadwell is seeking a Sustaining Software Engineering Manager focused on ensuring the highest quality, stability, and performance of our general release and LTSR products. You will lead a team dedicated to maintenance, bug fixes, patch management, and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes production stability, escalation leadership, and collaboration with Platform and Product teams to integrate fixes without regressions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years in software engineering management or senior technical leadership.
• Experience troubleshooting complex, multi-component software systems.
• Experience in regulated environments preferred (medical/device).

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a sustaining software engineering team with defined metrics.
• Define escalation paths for urgent customer-facing issues with Support Platform and PM.
• Screen and assign incoming maintenance requests to the team.
• Own release of critical maintenance fixes and patches across product lines.
• Maintain codebase familiarity and ensure code quality across CNN product areas.
• Ensure releases comply with Cadwell's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Collaborate with Platform and Product teams to prevent regressions.
