Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Sustaining Mechanical Engineer to support a portfolio of fire protection products within the Fire Suppression Special Hazards & Foam R&D team. You will work with Manufacturing, Quality, and Technical Services to maintain compliance and drive product improvements across global operations.

Based onsite in Marinette, WI, this role requires a mechanical engineering degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on robust design, manufacturing best

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years relevant work experience as a mechanical engineer.
• Experience based understanding of engineering theories, mathematics, mechanics, and physical science concepts.
• Practical knowledge of best practices for manufacturing and design.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis of difficult design or manufacturing problems.
• Manage multiple sustaining engineering projects and prioritize to meet critical deadlines.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and R&D teams to communicate design specifications and test criteria.
