Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of combined experience in logistics/inventory management and manufacturing or sustaining engineering roles
  • At least 2 years of experience in Hardware Operations
  • Proficiency with ERP and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, vendor management, and warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with stock management, forecasting principles, and spreadsheet tools
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and problem-solving techniques (e.g., RCA, FMEA)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effective across teams

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing Sustaining & Engineering Support: support sustaining manufacturing and engineering efforts for imagery collection equipment
  • Participate in BOM & ECR management: define BOM requirements for assemblies and sub-assemblies; submit ECR and NPR
  • Production transactions: generate AC and de-kit orders for assemblies at the CM
  • Quality support: monitor yields and test fallout rates; assist with basic RCA for recurring issues
  • Documentation: collect and organize RMA data; maintain inventory overviews of failed and repaired units
  • Role responsibilities: Inventory and Logistics Coordination: manage inbound/outbound shipments; process ticket requests with logistics team
  • Equipment movement: support imagery collection equipment movement (domestic and international) through product lifecycle with regulatory compliance
  • Inventory audits & control: assist annual physical counts; review inventory data; perform audits and reconciliations; support stock counts and forecasting

Role Overview

This dual-role position combines operational logistics with sustaining manufacturing engineering support for imagery collection equipment. The role manages the product lifecycle through inventory coordination, equipment movement, and stock control, while also supporting manufacturing processes to ensure quality, yield, and timely implementation of engineering changes.

Role Responsibilities: Manufacturing Sustaining & Engineering Support
  • Manufacturing Sustaining & Engineering Support
BOM & ECR Management
  • Understand and define requirements for basic Bills of Materials (BOM) for assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Submit Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and New Part Requests (NPR)
Production Transactions
  • Generate Assembly Complete (AC) and de-kit orders for assemblies and sub-assemblies at the Contract Manufacturer (CM)
Quality Support
  • Assist in monitoring manufacturing process yields and test fallout rates
  • Support engineers with basic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues
Documentation
  • Collect and organize Return Material Authorization (RMA) data related to manufacturing failures
  • Maintain inventory overviews of failed and repaired units
Role Responsibilities: Inventory and Logistics Coordination
  • Manage all inbound and outbound shipments to and from the Contract Manufacturer, ensuring operational readiness and setup support
  • Process ticket requests and manage service ticket creation and tracking in collaboration with the logistics workflow team
Equipment Movement
  • Support imagery collection equipment movement requests (domestic and international) throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations
Inventory Audits & Control
  • Assist with annual physical inventory counts in collaboration with the Contract Manufacturer
  • Review inventory data, identify discrepancies, and perform audits or reconciliations as needed
  • Support stock management, scheduled stock counts, and forecasting activities
