Job summary

Masimo, a Danaher operating company, seeks an Engineering Project Manager, Sustaining, to drive complex cross‑functional sustaining engineering initiatives for medical devices. The role partners with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Product Management to align resources and deliver lifecycle improvements.

You will manage design changes, manufacturing transfers, supplier qualification, and cost reduction while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. On‑site in Irvine, CA.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering with 3+ years in project or program management, leading cross‑functional initiatives.
• Experience supporting sustaining engineering and product lifecycle activities such as design changes, manufacturing transfer, supplier qualification, or supply continuity.
• Strong project planning, risk management, problem‑solving, stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability across teams.
• Experience with PM/PLM tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Agile PLM, Windchill or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex sustaining engineering and product lifecycle projects from initiation through implementation.
• Manage a portfolio of sustaining initiatives with scope, schedules, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Partner with leaders to balance product, quality, regulatory, operations, and cost considerations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional changes ensuring stakeholder alignment and timely execution.
