Job summary

Baxter is seeking a motivated Sustaining Engineering Project Manager within the Patient Support Systems (PSS) group. You will lead design changes for medical device products, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive projects from planning to implementation in a collaborative environment.

You will manage schedules, report risks, and support continuous improvement while communicating with diverse stakeholders across engineering, sourcing, operations, quality, regulatory, and marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical field required or strongly preferred.
• 1+ years of project management experience with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders including engineering, sourcing, operations, quality, regulatory, marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with presentation capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams from planning through implementation.
• Plan and execute projects using PM tools, coach teammates, solve problems and make decisions.
• Lead multiple small to medium projects with limited supervision.
• Communicate project status up and down the organization and provide regular updates.
• Support change control KPI reporting and project reporting.
• Create and maintain project schedules.
• Track and communicate project risks and support process improvements.
