Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s Power Distribution and Control Assemblies (PDCA) Division seeks a Sustaining Engineer for sustainment and maintenance of line at our Omaha, NE manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance is available.

You will lead product updates, execute design verification plans, manage cost targets, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to meet performance and manufacturability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of three years of engineering experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer exposure in an engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Support updates to existing products and new product development including schedule, scope, resource management and budgets.
• Delegate design/drafting responsibilities and manage release of models/documents via change management.
• Develop and execute design verification test plans and reports.
• Collaborate with supply chain and purchasing to identify suppliers for new designs.
• Coordinate prototype builds and testing and interface with standards agencies as needed.
• Provide technical training and application support for end users.
