Billerud NA, a leading sustainable packaging materials and paper company, seeks a Process Engineer Supervisor - Pulp & Recovery at the Quinnesec Mill in Michigan. You will manage a technical group focused on pulping, chemical recovery, energy systems, and utilities.

Emphasis on safety, reliability, and environmental performance. You will lead capital projects, drive optimization, and support long-term energy efficiency initiatives while aligning with mill production goals and sustainability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related).
• 5 years of operations/technical experience in manufacturing or BS in Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical group supporting pulp mill, recovery operations, and utilities.
• Drive safety, environmental compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Coach engineers and technicians; mentor continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate capital projects, trials, and process changes.
