Job summary

Mid Devon District Council is seeking a Forward Planning Assistant in Tiverton. The role is permanent, full-time (37 hours/week) with hybrid working. You will monitor development of new homes and other uses while gaining experience across planning projects and engaging with communities.

A degree in Planning or related subject is required, with strong communication skills and IT literacy (MS Access, ArcGIS) preferred. Closing date 9 November 2026.
