Job summary

Reworld, a leader in sustainable waste solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Maryland. You will lead a diverse maintenance team to achieve asset reliability goals, applying best practices in maintenance, reliability, and quality assurance site-wide.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, budget development, and long-term planning, plus overseeing CMMS, outages, and root-cause analysis to drive continuous improvement and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Waste-to-Energy maintenance experience or solid background in power, military, industrial or chemical plant maintenance; minimum 5 years supervisor/manager experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor Degree / Engineering degree preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance budgeting and methodologies.
• Manage spare parts inventory to optimum levels.
• Good computer skills, able to work with ALM/Peoplesoft, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Electrical and instrumentation knowledge including NEC and NFPA Arc Flash safety regulations.
• Proficiency in work management processes including planning & scheduling and preventative maintenance and outages.
• Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance Practices and systems understanding.
• Experience in design/repairs/maintenance/reliability/failure modes/inspection of process equipment.
• Familiar with RCFA and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Safety Leader to ensure safety remains top priority in planning and execution.
• Work with EHS to target zero incidents and improve site EHS performance.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce safety risk, increase productivity and efficiency.
• Plan, develop, and implement methods to improve operations and reduce operating costs.
• Manage maintenance shops with Mechanical and E&I crafts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Develop a 5-year maintenance plan for the site.
• Maintain a dashboard and budgets; align actions to meet financial goals.
• Lead the Work Management Program to stay cost-competitive using best practices.
• Support CMMS and related tools; oversee outage planning and maintenance processes.
