Job summary

Cascada Spa and Hotel in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and common areas. The role reports to the Laundry Supervisor/Director of Housekeeping and supports our sustainability commitments in a LEED Platinum-certified facility.

Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking supplies, changing linens, and collaborating with laundry staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping or related hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms per hotel standards (dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing).
• Change linens and towels; restock supplies.
• Report maintenance issues and guest requests promptly.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and use cleaning agents properly.
• Collaborate with laundry staff to ensure a steady supply of clean linens.
• Uphold sustainability practices in daily operations.
