Job summary

Cascada Thermal Springs + Hotel in Portland, OR, is seeking a Public Area Attendant to clean and maintain all public spaces within our luxury hotel and spa. You will ensure cleanliness in lobbies, restrooms, fitness facilities, and common areas, while supporting sustainable practices and guest comfort.

The role requires English communication, attentiveness to detail, physical stamina, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous guest-facing housekeeping experience preferred in hospitality.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay on feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, fitness areas).
• Sanitize surfaces, restock supplies, and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Report maintenance issues and guest requests promptly.
• Follow health and safety guidelines when using cleaning agents and equipment.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure adequate supplies.
• Support sustainability practices by using resources efficiently and recycling where applicable.
