Job summary

HOK is seeking a junior interior designer in a hybrid Miami environment to support project teams across design development, production drawings, and presentations. You will refine design documents and create 2D/3D drawings, build client-ready models, and contribute to sustainable design approaches.

The role requires a bachelor’s in architecture or interior design, 0–3 years’ experience, and LEED credential within 12 months. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design or foreign equivalent.
• 0 to 3 years' experience; or equivalent education and experience.
• LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Modifies and prepares production drawings during design development phase.
• Corrects and updates design documents.
• Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
• Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
• May mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff.
• Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
• Builds models for client/project team review.
• Compiles data and performs elementary design computations.
• Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
