Job summary

COOKFOX Architects in New York, NY is seeking a Communications Manager to support business development, outreach, and storytelling. You will craft proposals, newsletters, and project narratives, while shaping the studio’s voice across digital channels.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience.
• Strong interest and conceptual fluency in design, equity, and sustainability.
• Exceptional writing and editing capabilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management, with high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and media contacts.
• Ability to balance team collaboration with independent task management.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and refine proposals, newsletters, project narratives, award submissions, website copy, and research content.
• Manage and create content for social media channels and the studio website, ensuring high-quality, consistent messaging.
• Maintain marketing and portfolio files. Collaborate with photographers and videographers for portfolio, thought leadership, and marketing content.
• Support external PR consultant, assist senior leadership with speaking engagements, and coordinate internal event communications.
