Job summary

ZGF Architects seeks a skilled Sustainable Design Analyst in Portland, Oregon to guide project performance through cutting-edge sustainability analyses. You will work with architecture teams, consultants, and clients to shape design strategies and drive high-performance outcomes.

The role involves leading LCA work, supporting WELL, LEED, and Living Building Challenge certifications, and developing analytic workflows while training staff and contributing to marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience with sustainable standards (LEED, WELL, LBC).
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience in Revit, Rhino, Adobe Suite and other modeling tools is a plus.
• Creative problem solver with ability to work independently in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop design strategies to meet the sustainable vision and project goals.
• Support delivery of projects in the US and Canada with high performance focus.
• Lead LCAs and communicate results through visuals and reports.
• Develop workflows focused on LCA, carbon intensity and other analyses.
• Train staff in project analyses including LCAs and daylight studies.
