Job summary

Loyola University Chicago seeks a Roosevelt Sustainable Community Schools Coordinator, Parent Engagement Supervisor, to lead the SCS model at Roosevelt High School. This exempt role connects school, family, and community to build programs, resources, and opportunities for students and families.

The position oversees a full‑time SCS Parent Coordinator, engages diverse stakeholders, and ensures alignment with racial equity and whole‑child development goals. In‑person work preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong facilitation and relationship‑building skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate whole-school and community planning aligned with SCS principles and pillars.
• Help develop a Leadership Team including youth, parents, educators, and community members.
• Align and connect school-based and community resources to meet shared goals.
• Organize opportunities for the school community to learn about and shape the SCS strategy.
• Facilitate community asset mapping with the school community.
• Develop authentic relationships centering voices historically excluded.
• Engage leadership to design outreach strategies for programs and initiatives.
• Co-design needs assessment and translate findings into strategic goals.
• Manage community school programs with parents, students, teachers, and admins.
• Share reports and communications for transparency and accountability.
• Maintain attendance records for all programs.
• Oversee timesheets, pay requests, and reimbursements for SCS staff.
• Collaborate with LPA and other SCS Coordinators to strengthen practice.
• Participate in professional development and communities of practice.
• Foster reflective learning and sustainable growth within the school community.
• Supervise the full-time SCS Parent Coordinator and related activities.
