  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new software tools.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to help create materials and engage with staff and patients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position Summary

The Sustainability Student Assistant will support the Wexner Medical Center Sustainability Program Manager in various sustainability initiatives, focusing on energy reduction, waste minimization, and environmentally preferred purchasing. The role will help advance the medical center’s goals toward carbon neutrality and other resource stewardship targets. Ability to assist with physical tasks, such as setting up recycling stations or supporting waste management events. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary for sustainability events or initiatives.
