Job summary

Amcor seeks a Sustainability Manager to drive deployment of sustainability initiatives, translating metrics into actionable business insights. You will manage PCR/recycled content data, support customer requests, and act as the central SME for packaging reporting within the BG and related teams.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in sustainability metrics, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, with a degree in Business, Environmental Science, or Engineering and at least 6

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business, environmental science, or engineering field is required; master's preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in engineering or business roles related to sustainability of manufactured products, preferably plastics.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; proficient with Excel and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Define, track, and own key sustainable packaging metrics; manage monthly/quarterly reporting and present findings to leadership.
• Collaborate with internal functions to support the sustainability plan and respond to customer sustainability requests.
• Clarify and improve standardized processes for customer sustainability requests (e.g., EPR/FPR, LCA/PCF data).
• Serve as an internal SME for sustainable packaging reporting and drive cross-functional improvement actions.
