We are seeking a Sustainability Senior Analyst in the Sustainability Program Office to support Equinix in achieving our climate ambitions. This individual will report to the Environmental Sustainability Program Lead and will partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive the company-wide decarbonization strategy to meet our climate targets and commitments. Candidates should have a strong understanding of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting practices and decarbonization strategies within the ICT sector, and be comfortable working cross-functionally to drive results.

Responsibilities:

1. Support and facilitate data collection and management related to GHG accounting, reporting, and forecasting.
2. Engage with environmental sustainability leads to quantify carbon reduction initiatives, develop internal carbon reduction targets, and measure performance against these goals across Scopes 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
3. Assist in developing and maintaining internal carbon analytics tools to support prioritization of decarbonization strategies and measure project performance.
4. Communicate key activities, progress, and outcomes of sustainability initiatives to stakeholders and prepare reports in compliance with relevant standards.
5. Grow into an expert on data center, real estate, and technology-related sustainability topics, including technical sustainability concepts.
6. Develop expertise in environmental sustainability topics such as climate resiliency, emissions, energy, and water, and key ESG issues.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience in corporate sustainability and GHG accounting.
2. B.S. degree in a relevant STEM discipline or equivalent experience; master's degree preferred.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to translate complex sustainability data into concise, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
5. Working knowledge of sustainability programs related to energy, environment, and emissions (e.g., TCFD, CDP, GRI, GHG Protocol, Science-based Targets, ISSB, UK TPT).
6. Aptitude for project management and engaging cross-functional teams at various levels.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with competing deadlines and influence stakeholders to progress programs.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
