Job description

Description of Responsibilities and Key Activities
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end Sustainability Reporting annual workplan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring full alignment with both internal governance expectations and external reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with the ESG Office to ensure consistent alignment of reporting activities, data inputs, and communication flows.
  • Collaborate with the External Reporting team to synchronize ESG disclosures with the broader annual reporting calendar, including preparation of the Annual Report.
  • Manage end-to-end content review and approval cycles involving senior stakeholders, including Management, Legal, and Executive Vice Presidents.
  • Develop high-quality executive-level presentations for Steering Committees, Audit Committees, ESG Committees, and leadership updates.
  • Define, coordinate, and communicate tasks across the ESG network, providing clear guidance, governance, and oversight.
  • Act as a central liaison across cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of sustainability reporting deliverables.
  • Prepare regular status reports on project progress, timelines, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues proactively to stakeholders when required.
  • Oversee the design and production process of the Sustainability Statement and Expanded Sustainability Statement.
  • Support effective usage of ESG reporting tools such as Workiva and AuditBoard.
  • Manage the annual sustainability reporting budget, including expenses, vendor contracts, and invoice processing for external service providers.
  • Engage with external stakeholders such as auditors, ESG rating agencies, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Track and benchmark sustainability reporting practices against industry peers and evolving global standards.
  • Participate in industry forums, business groups, and training programs to stay updated on ESG regulations and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and quality of sustainability reporting processes.
  • Support capability building by training and upskilling the sustainability reporting team and ESG network members.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in relevant roles.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent deliverables.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Genuine interest in sustainability and willingness to continuously learn evolving ESG topics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of global ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, and CSRD.
  • Prior experience in ESG content development and sustainability reporting.
  • Experience working with Big 4 accounting firms preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Additional language skills (French, Italian, German) are an advantage.
  • Ability to work with agility, manage multiple priorities, and apply pragmatic decision-making.
  • Automotive industry experience is an added advantage.
