Job summary

Mars, Incorporated in McLean, VA is hiring a Sustainability Reporting Senior Manager to support the Sustainability Reporting Director in preparing for global mandatory reporting. You will develop, maintain, and evaluate Mars' Sustainability Reporting for Finance framework, strengthen internal controls, identify gaps, and guide remediation to ensure ongoing compliance.

This cross-functional role partners with Sustainability, Public Affairs, Corporate Controllership, business segments, and Mars

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, sustainability or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in accounting, finance, IT, sustainability, risk, controls, or related functions.
• At least 3 years applying the technical knowledge for sustainability reporting, controls or governance.

Responsibilities

• Support global mandatory sustainability reporting requirements, focusing on CSRD in the first year.
• Develop and implement Sustainability Controls within SCI program.
• Coordinate data governance, quality, and reporting calendars.
• Lead global sustainability reporting initiatives and project management.
• Collaborate across Mars functions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Sustainability

MS or MBA (advantage)

CPA preferred
