BuildLACCD is seeking a Project Engineer III – Sustainability to lead and coordinate bond-eligible capital improvements across the district. The role focuses on planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout of sustainability and energy-related projects under the BuildLACCD program.

You will support the Sustainability Strike Team lead, work with District staff and consultants, and help ensure projects align with program requirements and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project or construction management of large facilities (>$15M).
• BS/BA in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction Mgmt, or related field.
• Experience with sustainability or energy-related capital projects is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical and project coordination support across design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Review design documents, RFIs, change orders, and submittals with SMEs.
• Coordinate with district personnel, CPTs, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Monitor progress, document field observations, and maintain project reports.
• Assist in meetings, minutes, and status communications to stakeholders.
