Job summary

The Greenridge Group is seeking a Project Engineer III – Sustainability to lead energy efficiency and building modernization initiatives for the Los Angeles Community College District BuildLACCD Bond Program. You will coordinate sustainability upgrades, PV systems, EV charging, and related infrastructure while collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and campus stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in project/construction management, a relevant engineering/architecture

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in project management or construction management on large public or educational facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience coordinating construction projects and technical issues.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and engineers.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate energy efficiency upgrades and sustainability initiatives for projects.
• Coordinate construction activities with PMs, architects, engineers, contractors, and campus reps.
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, field orders, drawings and specs.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, field observations, and project reporting.
• Coordinate design reviews, site assessments, feasibility studies, utility requirements, infrastructure evaluations.
• Develop project scopes, preliminary budgets, schedules, and implementation plans.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved plans, District standards, and DSA requirements.
• Assist with commissioning, final documentation, and project closeout.
