Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in a similar role or position in construction.
• BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related degree.
• Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative.
• Effectively manage daily work effort in a fast-paced environment.
• Good verbal and writing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, engineering, and project coordination support to Project Managers and the Sustainability Strike Team for projects progressing through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Coordinate with District personnel, CPTs, architects, engineers, contractors, and technical SMEs to address project requirements and constraints.
• Assist with review and coordination of design documents, RFIs, submittals, change orders, field orders, and other project documentation.
• Support coordination and resolution of technical issues and facilitate timely responses to RFIs in consultation with SMEs.
• Maintain and distribute current contract plans, specifications, project records, and supporting documentation.
• Support field verification and construction coordination activities to assess compliance with project scopes and DS A requirements.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, documenting field observations, and coordinating follow-up actions with stakeholders.
• Assist with tracking project schedules, change orders, submittals, and other implementation activities.
• Support verification that contractors maintain record drawings and project documentation.
• Coordinate project meetings, document minutes, track actions, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Review submittal procedures, RFIs, monthly invoices, and related project documentation as directed by PMs.
• Support commissioning, project closeout, record documentation, and outstanding project requirements.
• Assist in scoping and development of districtwide sustainability capital improvement projects and alignment with priorities.
• Coordinate due diligence activities to verify capacity, requirements, and constraints.
