Job summary

Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) is seeking a Policy Fellow for the Sustainability Policy Group in Washington, DC. The fellow will engage in energy, circularity, materials use and other sustainability policy issues, supporting ITI’s advocacy and global policy work across the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement for The Green Grid, drafting policy inputs, monitoring developments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate student pursuing a degree in political science or public policy, international affairs or related field.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to track timelines and readouts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain complex technology topics.
• Demonstrated interest and knowledge of sustainability and technology policy issues.
• Experience conducting research.

Responsibilities

• Manage member engagement and outreach for ITI’s The Green Grid with member and data center operators.
• Attend meetings on sustainability and regulatory policy and produce agendas and readouts.
• Monitor US and global sustainability and regulatory policy developments.
• Draft inputs for fact sheets, position papers, letters, comments, and other materials.
• Collaborate with SPG, Public Sector and other ITI teams to support advocacy efforts.
