Job summary

Community Roots Academy seeks a dedicated role to develop sustainability and outdoor education programs for K–5 and during school breaks. You will coordinate school-wide sustainability initiatives and lead the Green Team daily, while also supervising recess and providing program leadership.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sustainability and environmental science required.
• Experience with youth education or facilitation preferred.
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate programs for K–8 students.
• Must pass fingerprint clearance, TB test, pre-employment physical, and provide immunization records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability/outdoor education programs for K–5 and camps.
• Coordinate school-wide sustainability initiatives and document progress (photos/blog/videos).
• Oversee recess supervision and provide program leadership.
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and school staff.
